About 3 million 200,000 tons of oil have been delivered to the Turkmen largest oil refinery Turkmenbashi since early 2010, official Turkmen source said.
He said that oil industry workers from the Balkan western region of the country provided the plant with raw materials. It is almost 300,000 tons more than it was planned.
Refurbishment has been recently carried out at this company. Processing capacity has reached 9 million tons of oil a year compared to the previous six million tons.
About $1,6 billion was spent for these measures. The contractual work was carried out by oil and gas companies from Japan, Germany, Iran, Turkey, France and other countries.
Volumes of exports are also steadily increasing.
About 35 tons of lubricants have been produced since early 2010. The production of products in demand increased by more than 20 percent compared to the same period of 2009.
