Turkmenistan puts over 190,000 tons of oil products for sale

Turkmenistan has put up more than 190,000 tons of oil products from refineries in the city of Turkmenbashi, refinery in the city of Sadie and gas processing complex in Naip for sale at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Liquefied natural gas - 50,000 tons, kerosene - 15,000 tons, polypropylene - 7,000 tons, gasoline (A-92 and A-80) - 45,000 tons, fuel oil - 80,000 tons were exhibited.

Last week the auction registered more than 30 transactions.

Businessmen from United Kingdom, UAE, Afghanistan purchased gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, aviation kerosene. The main buyers are also businessmen from Switzerland, Iran, Virgin Islands, the Netherlands, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.

The Commodity Exchange serves as the principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
