Staff changed in Turkmen energy sector

The State Agency for Management and Hydrocarbon Resources Use Director Yagshigeldi Kakayev is temporarily assigned the duties of the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers (Deputy Prime Minister) on oil and gas industry, chemical industry and fisheries.
According to the official Turkmen sources, staff change is due to "health condition" of Baymyrat Hojamuhammadov, who till this time as deputy prime minister controlled the activities of these fields.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed the corresponding order.
According to BP's report, Turkmenistan ranks fourth in the world for its natural gas reserves. At present, this fuel is exported to China, Russia and Iran.
