Today a high-voltage power line "Imereti" switched off in Georgia, as a result Tbilisi faced power supply problems.
A power failure occurred in several metro stations. Special teams of rescuers helped out people on the wagons.
A power failure is due to partially cutoff Eastern Georgia and the capital from the network, the Georgian State Power System told Trend.
Restoration works have been already begun and network load is underway.
It should be noted that the incident caused water cutoff in many districts of Tbilisi.
