The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic's (SOCAR) Environmental Management has conducted environmental monitoring at national oil and gas processing enterprises.
The monitoring was conducted at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, the Azneftyag Refinery and the Azerbaijani Gas Processing Plant.
The monitoring examined cleansing installations, purification plants and equipment. It also collected information about the activities of the plants, investigated sources of pollution, and studied the amount and management of contaminated waters emerging during manufacturing.
