Aug.11, SOCAR Georgia Petroleum opened two new gas stations gas stations under SOCAR brand, SOCAR said today.

According to the report, the stations were opened in the centre of Tbilisi and Senaki. The opening ceremony was attended by SOCAR Energy Georgia head Mahir Mammadov and other officials of the company.

Putting into operation two new gas stations a total number of gas stations under SOCAR brand reached 45. by late 2010 SOCAR plans to up gas stations to 60.

SOCAR Energy Georgia co-founders are: SOCAR - 51 percent, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24.5 percent and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24.5 percent.
