The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the World Bank will discuss the preliminary version of an action plan to reduce the company's associated gas emissions on Aug. 30 in Baku.
The meeting will be held at the offices of the SOCAR Ecological Monitoring Division.
A document is being prepared under a memorandum of understanding signed between SOCAR and the WB Global Gas-Flaring Reduction Partnership signed in August 2008.
The meeting will be attended by the Ecology Department, the Azneft PU, operating companies and joint ventures.
