The Batumi oil refinery in Georgia will retain its profile now that it has been sold and operate as an oil terminal, the Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia has said.
Kobalia said the terminal will continue to operate and employ local people.
"It will become the most environmentally clean terminal" and its future is assured, the minister said.
The Batumi refinery was sold at auction for $15 million to Turkish company Petrol Batumi.
