SOCAR-AQS LLC completed drilling of two high debit wells in the shallow part of the Guneshli gas field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the LLC said today. The shallow part of the Guneshli field is developed by SOCAR at its own expense.
According to the LLC, drilling was completed ahead of schedule. One well with depth of 3,750 meters was drilled from the offshore platform "Gunashli-11", and the second with depth of 4,100 meters - from the platform Guneshli-13.
Currently, SOCAR-AQS LLC conducts final works for drilling of another well on the "Gunashli-13" platform.
Drilling of new wells is carried out by order of SOCAR's Production Unit "Azneft".
