Iran's High Aviation Council reported about 30-percent increase in the cost of tickets for domestic flights from Oct. 7 2010, ISNA news agency reports today.
The organization based the decision to increase air tickets prices with repeated requests by airlines, as well as bringing current cost into line with the real flight prices.
According to Iranian High Aviation Council, air tickets prices for domestic flights is one of the lowest in the world.
Airlines will have more opportunities to purchase spare parts, as well as to better equip and modernize its fleet to ensure safety and comfort of passengers.
