The average petrol consumption in Iran amounted to 65.53 million liters per day from late September to early October, or 5 percent less compared to the same period of last year, Fars agency reported.

The average petrol consumption in Iran amounted to 65.53 million liters per day from late September to early October, or 5 percent less compared to the same period of last year, Fars agency reported.

The average petrol consumption in this period of last year amounted to 69.1 million liters.

Petrol consumption in Iran was 73.78 million liters per day on September 23, or 7 percent more compared to the same period of last year.

The largest volume of petrol consumption in this period fell to September 25 - 73.9 million liters, the smallest amount - on Oct. 1 - 56.44 million liters.

During the same period Iran consumed 16.21 million liters of kerosene, or 24 percent compared to the same period last year. Iran consumed 96.2 million liters of gas oil from September 25-October 2, or 2 percent over the corresponding period last year.
