Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct.11 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgia today at 08:00 (local time) temporarily stopped the transit of the Russian gas to Armenia. This is due to routine preventive measures on the main gas pipeline "North-South" at one of the sites in the Mtskheta region, the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia.
"Armenian and Russian sides have already informed about conducting preventive measures and suspension of transit of the Russian gas to Armenia through Georgian territory," the Corporation said.
Resumption of the gas supply is scheduled for 10:00 (Tbilisi time) Oct.14.
