Turkmenistan auctioned about 550,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Turkmenistan auctioned about 550,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 63,000 tons of liquefied gas, 1,000 tons of polypropylene, 200,000 tons of fuel oil, 40,000 tons of aviation kerosene, 10,000 tons of basic oil, 2,000 tons of gasoline, 60,000 straight-run gasoline and 175,000 tons of diesel fuel.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded over 57 transactions.

Businessmen from Russia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan  and Iran bought liquefied gas, polypropylene and gasoline. Traditionally, the main buyers are also the companies from UK, Afghanistan, Switzerland, Iran, Virgin Islands, Holland, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries. The total amount of contracts, including the production of other economic sectors has exceeded $62 million.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
