KazTransOil increases oil transportation volumes

More than 39 million tons were transported via the main pipelines of KazTransOil in January-September compared to about 37.7 million tons during the same period of 2009, the company said.

Throughput of oil via the main pipelines of KazTransOil in January-September amounted to 25.57 billion ton-kilometers.

The volumes of oil transported via the main pipelines of KazTransOil to Kazakh refineries increased compared to the last year.

The volume of oil pumped through the pipeline "Atasu-Alashankou" amounted to 7.55 million tons in January-September compared to more than 5.5 million tons for the same period last year.

The transit of Russian oil pumped through the pipeline section "TON-2, located on the territory of Kazakhstan, was 4,1 million tons in January-September compared to over 3.89 million tonnes during the same period last year.
