Iran keeps quota of petrol for motor vehicles without changes

Iran determined a quota of petrol for motor vehicles of the private and public transport for the period from late October to late November, Iranian Transport and Fuel Management Head Mohammadreza Ravanian was quoted as saying by the FARS news agency.

The Economic Expert Group decided to keep unchanged the amount of the quotas for gasoline allocated for automobiles of the private and public transport.

Iran controls the prices for petrol by the provision of state subsidies. The country carries out petrol sales on the card system, which provides for the sale of limited amounts of fuel at discounted prices.
