Iran will submit the official statistics on the increase of hydrocarbon reserves to OPEC by late 2010, Iran's representative to OPEC Mohammad Ali Khatibi was quoted as saying by Shana.

Iran's oil minister will submit to the OPEC secretariat the data on the country's hydrocarbon reserves that increased from 137.01 billion barrels to 150.310 billion barrels. The data is obtained on the basis of the recent studies conducted by the Iranian Oil Industry Ministry's Commission for the study of the hydrocarbon reserves, Khatibi said.

According to OPEC, the average daily oil production in Iran amounted to 3.65 million barrels in September 2010, which is less by 44,200 barrels than in August 2010.

OPEC comprises 12 countries: Algeria, Angola, Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. The cartel's countries ensure about 35% of oil demand in the global market.
