SOCAR put into operation a new gas condensate well in the field "Guneshli" in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR said.
According to the report, the well was put into operation from an offshore platform Guneshli-13. Thus, about 120,000 cubic meters of gas and 20 tons of condensate are extracted from the well in the range of 3,613-3,593 meters daily.
The well was drilled by specialists of SOCAR-AQS JV upon the order of the production association "Azneft".
There are 59 oil and gas fields, of which 18 are offshore, others - onshore in Azerbaijan.
