The Khachmaz power plant generated about 152.5 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-September, PU Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) reported today.
In September, the plant produced more than 29.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is more by 700,000 than forecasted earlier.
The Khachmaz power plant, which was built to improve power supply in the region, consists of ten units with total capacity of 87 megawatts and was commissioned in December 2006.
