The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) within the process of cleaning the surface of the sea along the Seaside National Park from oil residues and household waste delivered the ship "Boulevard-1" to Baku, SOCAR's report says.
According to the report, SOCAR's leadership has already inspected the new vessel, built by the Turkish shipbuilding company Besiktas.
The vessel's length is 12.4 meters, width - 3.2 meters. The vessel is equipped with the necessary equipment for the collection of oil residues from the water surface. Depending on the effectiveness of the works conducted by this ship, a possibility of purchasing similar vessels of larger size will be considered.
