SOCAR Georgia Petroleum opened three new filling stations under SOCAR's brand in Kutaisi, Telavi, SOCAR said.
After commissioning new filling stations, the total number of filling stations reached 53 units.
SOCAR Energy Georgia head (represents the interests of SOCAR in Georgia) Mahir Mammadov, Mayor of Kutaisi, Giorgi Tevdoradze, employees of the company, public representatives of Azerbaijan and Georgia attended the ceremony.
SOCAR plans to bring the number of filling stations in Georgia up to 60 units by late 2010.
Co-founders of SOCAR Energy Georgia are: SOCAR - 51 percent, Petro-Trans FZCO - 24,5 percent and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 24,5 percent
