"Azerenergy" (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) consumed about 4.71 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in January-September, the company said.
According to the report, charges for the consumed electricity during the nine months amounted to about 92 percent or 7 percent more than last year.
In September, the consumption of electricity hit 456.1 million kilowatt-hours. Payment for the used electricity in September amounted to about 105 percent, or 13 percent more than the same period of last year.
