SOCAR exported about 1.600 tons of main oil products from its own refineries in January-October compared to more than 1.45 million tons in January-September, a statement said.
Azerbaijan produces oil products at the two Baku refineries with total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries enter SOCAR, which annually processes more than seven million tons of oil from the offshore and onshore fields independently.
SOCAR exported about 147.200 tons of oil in October compared to about 165.300 tons in September.
Last year, the Baku refineries processed 6.03 million tons compared to 7.35 million tons in 2008. This year, SOCAR plans to process more than 6 million tons of oil at the refineries.
