Azerkimya reaches record volumes in production output

Production output at the enterprises included in the Production Unit Azerkimya of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reached 42 percent, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said on Saturday at the opening ceremony of emergency station in the territory of the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant.

Production output at the enterprises included in the Production Unit Azerkimya of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reached 42 percent, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said on Saturday at the opening ceremony of emergency station in the territory of the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant.

He said today as a result of works carried out at the Azerkimya's plants, all enterprises are in good working condition. Thanks to this Azerkimya has reached record amount of production output. Thus, production output in the PU's chemical enterprises grew from 26-27 percent to 42 percent.

Abdullayev said the second phase of works has already launched, which envisages the dismantling of the out-of-run plants and preparing the area in which it is planned to create a large chemical industrial park. In this regard, talks are underway with the European and American companies possessing most advanced technologies.

"We have invited companies with a great amount of know-how in order to continue opening of new chemical plants in Azerbaijan," Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev also attended the action on landscape gardening of the territory located along the Sumgait-Guba highway.
