Total petrochemical product production hits 23 million tons in Iran

Total petrochemical product production by mid-November reached 23 million tons in Iran, the Shana news agency reported today. The new year starts on March 21 in Iran.

During this period, Iran's largest production figures were observed at the Bandar Imam petrochemical complex - 3.426 million tons, Nuri - 2.174 million tons, Marun - 2.06 million tons, Pars - 2.052 million tons, and Zagros - 1.945 million tons.

Last year, Iran produced 50.8 million tons of petrochemical products.

Until mid-October, petrochemical product exports amounted to 8.5 million tons, or $5.05 billion.

Most petrochemical product exports fell to methanol in the amount of 1.838 million tons worth $476.760 million, liquefied natural gas in the amount of 1.371 million tons ($879.132 million), and ammonia in the amount of 716,000 tons ($232.662 million).
