Poland has offered Azerbaijani investors to participate in the privatization of Polish energy enterprises, Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak said in Baku today after a meeting of an Azerbaijan-Poland intergovernmental economic cooperation commission.
In particular, he said, companies working in the oil sector have been included in the list of enterprises up for privatization. One such example is the Lotos group.
"We invite Azerbaijani investors to show an interest in these projects, especially the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic, if it coincides with our strategic plan," Pawlak said.
Several hundred companies are included in the list of enterprises up for privatization.
