Oil production in ACG fields carried out from 64 wells in January-September

As a result of the three quarters of the year oil production in the block of offshore fields Azeri Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) was carried out from 64 wells, official report of BP, the operator of the project says. In total, during this period 30.8 million tons of oil (228 million barrels) was produced in the ACG fields.

During three quarters, 21 wells (15 oil-producing and 6 water-pumping) operated in the Chirag field. Daily oil production in the field amounted to about 98,000 barrels.

Eighteen wells (13 oil-producing and five gas-pumping) operated in the "Central Azeri" field. Daily production amounted to 206,600 barrels during this period.

Twenty-one wells (15 oil-producing and six water-pumping) operated in the West Azeri field. Daily production amounted to 252,800 barrels during this period.

Fifteen wells (ten oil-producing and five water-pumping) operated in the East Azeri field. Daily production amounted to 143,500 barrels during this period.

Twenty two wells (11 oil-producering and 11 water-pumping) operated in Guneshli deep-water field, and daily production amounted to 134,100 barrels.

Shareholders of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli development project are: BP (operator - 34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), Statoil (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), ITOCHU (3.9%), Hess (2.7%).
