Rumours over possible increase in energy prices at the domestic market of Azerbaijan do not correspond to reality, the head of Public Relations department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Abbas Aliyev said Friday night.

Prices for petroleum products in Azerbaijan are regulated by the state. The last time energy prices in the country were increased by the Tariff Council in early 2007.
