Turkmenistan auctions over 240,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 280,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 60,000 tons of liquefied gas, 60,000 tons of gasoline, 25,000 tons of kerosene, 30,000 tons of fuel oil and 20,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about  30,000 tons of diesel fuel, 20,000 tons of oil coke.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded about 50 transactions. A company from Virgin Islands purchased diesel fuel L-0.2-62 produced at the oil refinery in Turkmenbashi.

Companies from Afghanistan, Switzerland, Russia, Liechtenstein, the UK and the UAE have bought diesel fuel and industrial kerosene. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products hits $45 million.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
