Turkmenistan and China agreed to increase gas supplies via a common pipeline up to 60 billion cubic meters of gas a year, the official Turkmen source said.
The gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to China was built in 2009.
The document is expected to be signed during Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's official visit to China, scheduled for the second half of 2011.
China asked for more Turkmen gas last summer, more than was originally specified, i.e, in excess of 40 billion cubic meters of fuel a year.
