Gasoline consumption stands At 57.9 Ml/D in Iran

Daily gasoline consumption averaged 57.9 million liters during the Iranian week ending on 17th June showing about one percent increase in comparison to a week earlier, reported Shana.

Data released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) show that total gasoline consumption during the week stood at 405.9 million liters up by 4.2 million liters (1.1 percent) against a week earlier.

Despite gasoline, gasoil consumption came down during the mentioned week. Total gasoil consumption reached 657.5 million liters down by 19.2 million liters (about 3 percent) against a week earlier.

The data indicate that fuel oil and kerosene consumption has also been increased during the period. While total fuel oil consumption stood at 369.3 million liters, kerosene consumption reached 33.9 million liters, up by 72.1 and 4.5 million liters respectively.
