The Sangachal Power Plant generated about 493 million kilowatts/hours of electricity in January-May compared to forecasted 485.5 million kilowatts/hours, PU Azerenerji said in a statement.
In May the power plant generated over 33.6 million kilowatts/hours of electricity, which is 2.1 million kilowatts/hours more than the forecasted figure.
The plant was commissioned in December 2008 and consists of 18 units with total capacity of 300 megawatts. The station operates on oil, gas and diesel in passing processes.
