The second energy block at the Aksu thermal power station was commissioned in northern Kazakhstan.
"The project has been implemented for two years," the corporation said. "The investments amounted to about $250 million. As a result, the power of the energy block was 325 MW."
According to the information, the energy block No 2 was restored within a major program of phased reconstruction of all eight energy blocks of the power station.
