Iran continues negotiating with India on natural gas export while the country considers transferring gas to India from Pakistan, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Javad Ouji as saying.

"At present, there are two variants of transferring natural gas to India through Pakistan or building a gas pipeline under the sea and supplying gas through the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean," he said.

Pakistani Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources expressed his country's readiness to transfer Iran's natural gas to India, China and any other country.

After 22 years of negotiations held between Iran, India and Pakistan to finalize the process of the 2,700-kilometer peace pipeline construction, the implementation of this gas project is still unclear.

Iran and Pakistan signed the contract to export gas. According to the contract, Iran will export 7.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually to Pakistan by 2014.
