Chief of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev visited the Oil Rocks offshore field. He ordered to complete work on a new installation to clean stratal water from the Guneshlioffshore field, the company said.
The new installation of FL Smidth production will allow cleaning and pumping of 3,550 cubic meters of stratal water per day in the exhaust gas wells located at platform No. 85.
According to SOCAR, remaining recoverable reserves of the Oil Rocks oil and gas field, which is being developed since 1949, exceeds 182 million tons of oil. The volume of reserves of this field is 365 million tons. In accordance with the current development projects, development of the Oil Rocks field should be completed in 2035.
