Iran to export gasoline, diesel to neighbors

Iran is currently exporting 1.5 million liters of diesel per day to Iraq and plans to export oil products to Armenia, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Fars News Agency reported quoting Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeyghami as saying.

"Iran exported $1.5 billion oil products last solar year and currently exports diesel, LPG, heavy and light naphtha and gasoline daily," he said.

Iran currently exports 1.5 million liters of diesel to Iraq while Afghanistan requested import of 2 million liters of Gas-oil from Iran, which will apply gradually, he added.

Armenia also expressed readiness to import 1 million liters of Gas-Oil and 1 million liters of gasoline.

The National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company is also negotiating to export oil products to Pakistan.
