Italian Diemme S.P.A. will submit proposals for cleaning equipment supplies for contaminated land, after CJSC "Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri" gives oil sludge and soil samples to be cleaned by the company, CJSC said on Thursday.
The Italian company's representatives have already visited Baku and discussed cooperation prospects.
According to the report, equipment will be selected after soil and oil sludge samples have been analyzed.
Earlier the parties agreed that Diemme S.P.A will present a package of proposals to supply installations for land treatment by irrigation.
The agreement was reached during the visit of the Ekol delegation, headed by CEO Ramil Aliyev to the Italian city of Lugo.
The co-founders of Ekol Muhendislik Xidmetleri, created on March 1, 2006, to solve environmental problems on the Absheron Peninsula, are SOCAR (51 percent) and Lancer SA Services (49 percent).
