Turkey has increased its gas purchases from Azerbaijan and Russia after a blast in the Turkish section of a gas pipeline leading from Iran, the Turkish Ministry of Energy told Trend.
The ministry has not specified the increased purchase amount.
The explosion occurred in Turkey's eastern province of Agra. Gas transportation via the pipeline will be restored after repairs. It will take about a week.
