Azerbaijani oil refining successfully underway at Ukrainian and Belarusian oil refineries

Belarusian oil refinery in Mozyr began refining Azerbaijani Azeri Light oil, a source on oil and gas market said on Saturday.

He said Azerbaijani oil supplies to Belarus are carried out in normal mode, which favorably affects oil refining at the Mozyr oil refinery.

Also, according to the source, Azerbaijani oil is refined the normal mode at three oil refineries in Ukraine .

The source said that currently there are technical opportunities for Azerbaijani oil supplies to Poland, however, Azerbaijani oil is not refined at the Polish oil refineries.

Azerbaijan oil is supplied to Belarus via Odessa-Brody oil pipeline, which started operating in averse mode.

A contract for the supply of oil from Azerbaijan signed between the Belarusian Oil Company and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Under the contract, about four million tons of oil will be supplied in 2011.

Oil is delivered to the port "South", and then by the "Odessa-Brody" and "Drujba" pipelines to the Mozyr oil refinery. A contract for pumping hydrocarbon raw material using the Odesa -Brody pipeline was signed between CJSC Belarusian Oil Company and JSC Ukrtransnafta.
