Iran says ready to aid in Lebanon's gas, oil exploration
Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi said Iran is ready to help Lebanese government drill oil and gas wells, ISNA reported.
"We are ready to help Lebanon explore oil and gas wells beside putting into practice development projects," said Roknabadi after a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mighati, noting Iran holds considerable experiences and professional corporations on oil and gas exploration.
He continued, "we conferred on different issues including the horizons of cooperation between Iran and Lebanon based on the 26 agreements signed between the two countries. Ways to implement the deals and also paving the way for joint economic commission meeting were discussed as well."
Roknabadi added, "Iranian and Lebanese ministers will have mutual trips in line with implementation of the agreements inked between the two countries," Lebanese al-Manar TV Channel quoted him as saying.
