By constructing a storage facility in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, Iran will increase its oil products storage capacity, including jet fuel, by 200 million liters to reach 600 million liters, an official with the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said.
Seyed Abolhassan Ale-Mohammad told ILNA news agency that the storage facility will be inaugurated by February 12, 2012.
The facility is comprised of diesel, kerosene, gasoil and jet fuel tanks. Some 140 billion rials (around $13 million) has been invested in the project, the official said.
