Iranian oil minister: No oil dispute with Saudi Arabia

Iranian oil minister said that the country has no dispute with Saudi Arabia in tapping joint oilfields.

Rostam Qasemi told Mehr news agency that the U.S. is trying to provoke an oil dispute between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The two countries have two joint oilfields and there is no disagreement between the two countries in this regard, he stressed.

Iran has restored its place as OPEC's second major oil exporter, Shana quoted Iran's OPEC Governor Mohammad Ali Khatibi as saying.

In its Annual Statistical Bulletin published in May, the OPEC put Nigeria ahead of Iran with 2.464 million barrels export per day.

According to the OPEC, Iran exported 2.246 million cubic meters of oil per day in 2010.
