Turkey supports projects to supply Turkmen energy resources to Europe, Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Shevki Mutevellioglu said in his address to media, dedicated to the 88th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.

According to information, Turkey remains one of the largest trading partners of Turkmenistan. If the trade turnover between the two countries in 2005 totaled $341 million, at the end of 2010, the figure was about $3 billion.

Turkmenistan has registered more than 600 Turkish companies that operate in sectors such as trade and investment, construction, energy, textile and processing industries, tourism and other fields.
