Tehran records 3-percent drop in gasoline consumption

The Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) statistical data shows that Tehran's gasoline consumption between Nov 5 and Nov 11 is 86.5 million liters which is 2.5 million liters, or 2.8 percent, lower than Tehran's gasoline consumption in a week earlier (89 million liters), Shana reported Monday.

Tehran's average daily consumption of gasoline was 12.3 million liters last week.

The gasoline consumption slightly decreased in Iran to daily consumption of 59 million liters last solar week (Nov. 5 to 11), following its decreasing trend in the week earlier, Shana reported.

According to the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) official data, weekly gasoline consumption was 413.2 million liters between Nov 5th and Nov 11th, which has decreased by 0.1 percent (600,000 liters) compared to the previous week with gasoline consumption of 413.8 million liters.

The highest amount of gasoline consumption fell on Sunday, Nov 6th (66.4 million liters) and the lowest on Monday, Nov 7th (47.3 million liters).
