Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought 6.56 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-October from Azerenergy (electricity production and distribution in Azerbaijani regions) compared to 5.96 billion kilowatt-hours in January-September, the company reported.
The company bought about 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to about 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy.
The company bought 600.7 million kilowatt-hours in October compared to 537.6 million kilowatt hours in September from Azerenergy.
Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 93.22 percent in January-October for electricity from Azerenergy .
In 2010 this figure hit 96.2 percent compared to 84.44 percent on average in 2009.
