Deputy Manager of onshore sector of SP phase 12 project in Petropars Company, Saeid Tavakolian, said Phase 12 is under construction to reach 2.850 million cubic feet of sweet gas daily production and injection to national gas pipeline No.6, Shana reported
"To produce 120,000 barrels of natural gas condensates and 750 tons of sulfur," Tavakolian added. "Onshore sector of phase 12 progress has exceeded 50 percent and the total progress reaches 59 percent."
According to Tavakolian, more than 270,000 cubic meters of concrete is predicted for use, while 70 percent of the project has been done.
He said more than 52,000 tons of steel frame and more than 2.6 million inches piping process is being conducting.
The South Pars gas field is shared by Iran and Qatar. The Iranian share, which is divided into 24 phases, has about 14 trillion cubic meters of gas, or about eight percent of the total world reserves, and more than 18 billion barrels of liquefied natural gas resources.
