Kazakh coal to become more expensive since 2012
The Kazakh coal, following the price growth of another types of fuel, will grow in price since the next year, the coal mining companies said, CA-NEWS reported referring to the 31 Channel.
The ton of Maykubinskiy coal cost 6,000 tenge ($40) for the residents of Pavlodar region, the growth of the retail price of fuel is unknown, but the selling price will definitely rise.
The average price for coal in the country is 2,513 tenge ($17), the price will become 3,015 tenge ($20.5) since January 2012, according to Vice Chairman of LLP "Maiykobe Invest" Tatiana Gerasina.
More than 100 billion tons of coal are in the depths of Pavlodar region. Over 90 million tons are extracted every year. The most part is exported to Russia, forming prices for the solid fuel.
