French company presents its eco ships for SOCAR

The French company Ecoceane held presentation of its eco ships for Ecology Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), SOCAR's Ecology Department's official website reported on Saturday.
Particularly, information was provided on the ships designed to collect oil products from the water surface and various solid waste, as well as on their technical performance.
The meeting stressed the need for defining cooperation aspects between the sides.
Deployment of France's Ecoceane-manufactured five sea decontamination ships in the Caspian littoral states will allow eliminating the aftermath of an emergency situation and spill of oil and petroleum products within 24 hours, head of the company Eric Vial said earlier.
He said the ships may be deployed in ports of the five Caspian littoral states, particularly, in Baku (Azerbaijan), Makhachkala (the Russian Federation), Atyrau (Kazakhstan), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), and Bandar-Anzali (Iran).

The company is a supplier of different-size ships designed for cleaning from hard and liquid floating waste in harbors, and elimination of contaminations in an open sea. Use of the ships gives the opportunity to protect a coastline.
