Turkmengaz to sign contract with Russia to supply pipes

The State Concern Turkmengaz intends to sign a contract with Joint Stock Company "Trade House TMC" (Russian Federation) to purchase over 7,168 tons of steel pipes, an official Turkmen source said.

The corresponding order by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov was signed in order to fulfill the tasks set before the country's gas industry in accordance with the "Program of Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030".

The products will be used when reconstructing sections of the "Central Asia-Center-3" (CAC-3) gas pipeline and main bypass gas pipeline "Belek-Turkmenbashi". Turkmen gas is transported to Russia through these communications.

"TMC" - tube metallurgical company is one of the leaders of the world's pipe business and exporter of tube products.

The company consists of manufacturing enterprises located in Russia, USA, Romania and Kazakhstan.

TMC manufactures a wide range of pipe products, consumed by companies of various industries, first of all, by oil and gas companies.

TMC products are also used in the chemical industry, energy, engineering, construction, agriculture and other industries.

The company produces seamless and welded pipes, stock steel, as well as provides a range of related services, including rust-preventing and insulation coating of pipes, thermal treatment, warehousing and pipes repair services.
