4D geophysical works at field Eastern Azeri, which is part of the oilfields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in the Azerbaijani national sector of the Caspian, will begin next January, an oil and gas source told Trend on Tuesday.
Under this contract, Caspian Geophysical will carry out works at the area using geophysical ship Gilavar.
The source said works at field Eastern Azeri are scheduled to begin in the second half of January after 3D works at the promising block Shafag-Asiman operated by the SOCAR and BP are over.
"The works will begin in January next year," the source said.
The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli contract was concluded in 1994.
