SOCAR has exported about 117,250 tons of oil products from its own refineries in January compared to about 135,470 tons in January last year, SOCAR said on Thursday.
SOCAR exported around 1.45 million tons of oil products in 2011 compared to over 1.8 million tons in 2010.
The country produces oil products at two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries belong to SOCAR, which annually processes approximately 7 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani offshore and onshore fields.
